A Stroudsburg High School student committed suicide in November. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, four Monroe County Career and Technical Institute students reported feeling suicidal. County school administrators are always working to address teen depression and suicide, but because of recent events, “the initiative is a little stronger now,” said MCTI guidance counselor Thom Sarcinelli.
